A New Generation of Salad Dressing
The
Story
Over the years as a chef/caterer on Whidbey Island, in the state of Washington, I have had a large amount of requests for recipes of food that I served. There were none more likely to be requested, though, than my Splash! Salad Dressing. I began serving Splash! as a spinach salad adornment, sometimes with the use of strawberries and almonds and often the traditional spinach salad with bacon, egg and parmesan. Experimentally, I was mixing it with all other types of salads and no one recognized it was Splash! I began bottling several batches of it, with a 'homey' looking label crafted to sell at catering events. Soon, however, it was being requested at local stores and outlets. The more I made, the more I sold.

Chef Patti started her nutritional consulting and education business in 2007. The awareness of food, metabolic typing, and the echo of the food in our individual bodies, all are Patti’s main focus. Please peruse the link that will lead you to follow a pathway to whole health, naturally!
Thus, a mere four years later, I hired a graphic artist to capture the flavor of Splash! in picture form, and a new star is born! I am excited that it is now professionally bottled by Paradigm Foods in Portland, OR, and seeing it on shelves around the state. Soon, to be interstate and international!
Remember, if you prefer to use it as more of a base dressing, adding things that are able to transcend it into other flavors, it is easy to follow recipes that I have listed here on my Recipes page. But, don't forget, it's wonderfully unique all on its own!
